This Privacy Notice explains how Digital Mavverick Inc. ("Digital Mavverick", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects personal data when you visit our website, take the Business DNA Assessment, or purchase our digital products.

1. Who we are

Digital Mavverick Inc. is the data controller responsible for the personal data described in this notice. We trade as "Digital Mavverick Intelligence™" on this website.

2. Personal data we collect

• Account and contact data: your name and email address (submitted at the end of the assessment).
• Assessment responses: the answers you provide during the Business DNA Assessment, used to generate your report.
• Purchase data: information related to your order (products, amounts, order references). Payment card details are collected and processed by Paddle, not by us.
• Support messages: content of any emails or messages you send us.
• Usage and device data: IP address, device and browser information, pages viewed, referrers, and interaction events collected via cookies and similar technologies.

3. Why we use your data and legal basis

• Provide the products (generate your report, deliver the Launch Kit, run your account) — necessary to perform our contract with you.
• Process payments and issue invoices — necessary to perform our contract and to comply with legal obligations.
• Customer support — legitimate interest in responding to your requests.
• Security, fraud prevention, and service integrity — legitimate interest and legal obligation.
• Product improvement and analytics — legitimate interest in improving our platform.
• Marketing communications — with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

4. Who we share data with

We share personal data only with the following categories of recipients:

• Paddle — our Merchant of Record. Paddle handles checkout, payments, tax, invoicing, subscription management, and refund handling. See Paddle's Privacy Notice.
• Service providers and subprocessors — hosting, email delivery (e.g. Resend), analytics, error monitoring, and customer support tooling, acting under our instructions.
• Professional advisers — legal, accounting, and audit advisers where necessary.
• Authorities — where we are required to disclose data by law.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. International transfers

Some of our providers process data outside your country of residence, including in the United States and the United Kingdom. Where transfers are made from the UK or EEA, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an adequacy decision.

6. Data retention

We keep personal data only for as long as needed for the purposes above. Assessment responses and reports are retained while your account is active and for a reasonable period after to support you. Transaction records are kept as required by tax and accounting law (typically 6–10 years). When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymise it.

7. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, or port your personal data, to object to processing, and to withdraw consent. If you are in the UK or EEA, you may also lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. To exercise any right, email privacy@digitalmavverick.com. We aim to respond within one month.

8. Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures — including encryption in transit, access controls, and least-privilege access to production systems — to protect personal data. No system is perfectly secure; we work continuously to improve our controls.

9. Cookies

We use essential cookies to operate the website and, where permitted, analytics cookies to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may impact site functionality.

10. Children

Our website and digital products are not directed to children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect personal data from them.

We may update this notice from time to time. Material changes will be posted here with a new "Last updated" date.
